The Role
Looking for a resourceful, detail-oriented, organized, and strong-independent worker to join the founder of the company as an Operations Assistant on a part-time basis. This role is the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps Good Day running smoothly, from prepping content and managing schedules to handling client documents and invoices. You'll work closely with our founder, Kelsey, to make sure nothing falls through the cracks while we focus on creating great work for our Montana small business clients.
What You'll Do
- Prepare proposal documents for prospective clients
- Create and organize onboarding/offboarding documents for new clients
- Prepare and send invoices
- Compile end-of-month reports for clients
- Prepare detailed shot lists for upcoming client photoshoots
- Prep and organize company social media posts for Good Day Marketing's Instagram presence
- Manage Kelsey's monthly calendar, including regular meetings, photoshoots, and client appointments
- Occasionally jump in to help prep client social media posts when needed
- Be an extra set of hands at photoshoots from time to time
- Meet with Kelsey weekly to stay aligned and keep everything moving forward
Who You Are
- Organized and proactive—a lot of this work is done remotely and independently.
- Must be comfortable meeting deadlines
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and shifting priorities
- Familiar with social media (especially Instagram) and excited about creative work
- A clear, friendly communicator who keeps things moving and who is open to feedback
- Based in or around Bozeman, Montana
- Comfortable working independently while staying in communication
- Ability to learn new softwares
The Details
- Part-time position (approximately 15-20 hours a week, mostly remote work outside of monthly meetings in Bozeman or Belgrade)
- Flexible schedule with some in-person requirements for shoots and meetings
- Work alongside a small, creative team that values personality over perfection
- $18/hour contract worker (1099) not an employee (W2)
