Manufacturing Sanitation Technician

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Manufacturing Sanitation Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and food-safe production environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our facility, equipment, and production areas meet the highest sanitation and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• At the start of the shift, the team will relieve the morning processing crew and complete any remaining batches. They must ensure each batch is prepared correctly, verify that all ingredients have been added, accurately record all waste, and confirm the pH with the QA department.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, machinery, and work areas according to company procedures
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for deep cleaning
• Follow sanitation schedules and food safety standards
• Properly handle and use cleaning chemicals and sanitation supplies
• Complete sanitation logs and required documentation accurately
• Inspect equipment and work areas to ensure cleanliness and readiness for production
• Dispose of waste and recycling materials safely
• Follow all safety, GMP, HACCP, and company policies
• Report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to supervisors
• Assist with general housekeeping throughout the facility

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, food production, sanitation, or janitorial experience preferred
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Dependable attendance and positive attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and wet conditions
• Cold production areas may range from 33°F to 39°F
