We’re looking for a detail-oriented and dependable, experienced HR Coordinator to join our team on a part-time hybrid basis.


What You’ll Do:

  • Manage recruiting and onboarding activities including documentation, screening, and tracking in HRIS through I9 verification.
  • Process routine payrolls using Paychex software.
  • Serve as a go-to resource for general HR questions. Maintain PTO and Leave requests.
  • Assist in performance review cycles.
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
  • Provide internal customer services by responding to employee inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ability to resolve routine HR issues, escalating appropriately as necessary.
  • Maintain data accuracy and support HR data reporting.
  • Process expense reports and reimburse through payroll.
  • Coordinate and maintain employee required training programs.


What you Bring:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting or Business Administration. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, particularly for candidates with demonstrated success in HR administration and payroll administration. 
  • SHRM HR Certification a plus.
  • Working experience in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll, or accounting systems (ADP/Paychex/Netsuite).
  • 2–4 years of experience in HR administration, accounting support or blended administrative role.
  • Comfortable working part-time (20 hours/week) with strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Familiarity with HR functions such as onboarding and benefits administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism and dependability.


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.


Job Type:

  • Part-time, non-exempt. Paid PTO, holidays and opportunity for stock options.
  • $27 - $34 per hour depending on experience.
  • Human Resources/Administration Department.
  • Portland or Eugene Oregon, flexible hours with hybrid/remote consideration.


Role Description

This is a part-time, hybrid Human Resources Coordinator role. The Human Resources Coordinator will play a pivotal role in managing HR functions, including benefits administration, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with HR policies. Responsibilities also include supporting HR management, coordinating employee inquiries, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring operational efficiency in HR-related processes.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in HR Management and general Human Resources (HR) functions
  • Experience with Benefits Administration and Employee Relations
  • Strong knowledge and enforcement of HR Policies
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Proficiency with HR software and tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience with remote work and remote team coordination is a plus
