Good-2-Go Oregon is Oregon's premiere community-based support program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Currently, Good-2-Go is hiring an Employment Specialist to support clients in multiple capacities as each client progresses through finding and keeping a job in our Community.
As an employment specialist with Good-2-Go you will;
- Help clients discover what their ideal employment is
- Guide them through all aspects of the application and hiring process
- Continually support them throughout their employment.
Qualified applicants must:
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Show solid organization and multitasking capabilities
- Be proficient with the Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, ect.)
- Demonstrate the ability for creative problem-solving
Job Requirements:
- Be able to pass a criminal background check,
- Be able to obtain a First-Aid/CPR certification within 90 days of employment,
- Have reliable and insured personal vehicles to use during services (with travel/mileage reimbursement), and
- Have a reliable smartphone that can be used in the field.
- Reliable access to the internet at home
- Have experience and/or education in sales, marketing, or job development
Licensing requirements:
- Have one year of documented experience working either with individuals with disabilities, OR have one year of human service-related experience such as economic disadvantages, employment, abuse and neglect, substance abuse, aging, disabilities, prevention, health, cultural competencies, or housing.
AND
- Have at least one year of experience working in a specific employment field that includes supervisory and/or training duties, OR have at least six months prior experience as a job coach, OR be an instructional assistant qualified by a public school or an ESD.
General Schedule
- Part-time 35-40 hours a week
- Typical work hours are flexible between the hours of 8:00 am - 7:00 pm, Monday-Friday, and may include occasional evenings

Compensation:
- Starting rate between $21 and $22/ hr (DOE)
