Responsibilities for Key Account Manager
Responsible for leading the company’s efforts in sales calls, presentations, demonstrations, internal training, assessment services and product placement related to our products
Create effective sales tools for use by inside and outside sales people in regions.
Review weekly and monthly sales numbers with the sales reps to ensure proper results
Assist BDM in defining sales territories and customers for the outside sales reps
Create strategies to increase sales growth and profitability through the development of new accounts and the growth of existing customers
Provide recommendations on POG's and implementation of strategies that enhance business performance in target markets within new and existing account.
Provide leadership and motivation to assure team delivers to plan and exceeds expectations
Through prospecting, cold calling, and relationship building, lead and support sales opportunities within new and existing accounts and work collaboratively with internal resources as needed to ensure success of implementation to the customer
Candidate must excel at presenting complex client proposals, managing the overall sales process, and negotiating on behalf of multiple constituencies
Ability to formulate action plans and execute initiatives - both internally & externally
Assist and monitor Sales Support Programs instituted.
Train staff in all aspects of product knowledge & sales skills
Assist in the hiring, training and development of all sales personnel
Qualifications for Key Account Manager
Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Minimum of 5 year in sales experience or Divisional Sales and Operations Leader.
Food industry experience is a plus
Strong sales skills and the ability to communicate effectively
High energy, outgoing personality with a professional appearance
Self-motivated, proactive, and a true team player
Fluent in English and in Spanish
Must be based in the DFW area
