Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities that promote childhood development, including play, learning, and social interaction
- Support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with their routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices
- Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities that encourage curiosity and creativity
- Monitor children’s behavior to ensure safety and promote positive behavior management strategies
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including sanitizing toys and learning materials
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children’s progress and daily experiences
- Support classroom management by helping enforce rules and routines in a caring manner
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with energy, patience, and enthusiasm
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or classroom needs
