Therapy Technician – Pediatric Therapy (PT/OT/ST)

About Us
Gonzales Therapy Services provides pediatric physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), and speech therapy (ST) in a supportive and family-centered environment. We are looking for a Therapy Technician to assist our team and help children succeed in their therapy sessions.
Position Overview
The Therapy Tech will support therapists in delivering high-quality pediatric therapy services by assisting during sessions, ensuring a safe and engaging environment, and performing clerical and organizational tasks as needed. This is a great role for individuals interested in healthcare, therapy, or child development.
Responsibilities
- Escort children from the waiting room to therapy rooms and back.
- Assist and engage children during therapy sessions under the direction of a virtual therapist.
- Communicate session participation and progress to parents (directly or by bringing the therapist’s device for a virtual update).
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment, including sanitizing toys and materials.
- Assist with clerical and support duties such as shredding, laminating, and organizing during downtime or cancellations.
- Follow all therapist and clinic protocols to ensure child safety and quality of care.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Being comfortable around children with all levels of support is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to follow directions closely.
- Interest in healthcare, therapy, or child development is a plus.
Schedule & Compensation
- $10-12/hour (W2 position).
- Monday-Thursday 8AM-5PM
