Position Summary:
We are currently seeking motivated individuals interested in becoming a School Bus Driver through our Driver in Training Program. This is a paid training opportunity designed to prepare candidates for a full-time bus driver position upon successful completion.
Trainees will complete 40 hours of driver training, which includes classroom instruction, behind-the-wheel driving, and safety procedures. Upon successful completion of the program, candidates will be eligible to apply for a full-time bus driver position within the district.
Requirements:

Must possess a valid CDL Permit with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements

Must have a clean driving record

Must be at least 21 years of age

Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and DOT physical

Ability to follow instructions, communicate clearly, and work effectively with students and staff

Reliable attendance and punctuality
Program Details:

40 hours of paid driver training (classroom & behind-the-wheel)

Training includes all required safety and regulatory procedures

All training costs are covered by the district

Upon successful completion, candidates will be invited to apply for a full-time Bus Driver position
