The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. Daily tasks include preparing patients for imaging, operating radiographic equipment, ensuring patient safety, and following established protocols for radiation safety. The technologist will also collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic results. This is a full-time, on-site role located in San Antonio, TX.
- Competency in Radiologic Technology and operation of radiographic equipment
- Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Knowledge of Radiation Safety protocols and patient protection techniques
- Understanding of Medicine and Radiology principles to assist in diagnostic procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide compassionate care and collaborate with the healthcare team
- Ability to adhere to safety standards and regulatory compliance
- Prior experience in a clinical setting is an advantage
- Associate’s degree or completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program
