Role Description
Gontram Architecture is seeking a full-time Project Architect to lead and manage assigned projects from concept to completion. This hybrid role is based in Wake Forest, NC, and allows a combination of in-office collaboration and remote work. Responsibilities include creating architectural designs, producing construction documents, coordinating with consultants, reviewing submittals, and ensuring project compliance with schedule, budget, and regulations. The Project Architect will also oversee construction administration, participate in project meetings, and assist with integrating sustainable design principles where applicable.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Architecture and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Proficiency in managing Submittals and overseeing Construction Documentation
- Skilled in Project Management and team collaboration
- Familiarity with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) principles and sustainable design
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Licensed Architect preferred
- Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and related tools is a plus
- Experience with design/build project delivery is advantageous
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field required
