Patient Care Specialist/Chiropractic Assistant- Hands On Role

• Willing to learn new skills such as taking X-Rays, taking patients through exercise routines and being hands on with patients.

This is an important role within our office: patient greeting and communication skills are very important. While previous healthcare experience is a plus, personality and capability are more important than previous experience. This is a great opportunity to learn how to do many things in a busy practice.

Primary Duties:

• patient interface at front desk: new and returning patients
• scheduling patient appointments correctly according to clinic procedures
• keeping patients on schedule as they move from one treatment area to the next
• insurance verification
• auditing patient accounts and schedule
• Assisting in ALL departments when needed (x-ray, traction, exercise, doctor support)

We see patients during these times:

· Monday: 12:00 PM to 7:30 PM

· Tuesday: 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM

· Wednesday: 12:00 PM to 7:30 PM

· Thursday: 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM

· Friday: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM

These hours do not reflect the working schedule. These are hands on hours with patients.

We need someone who is flexible to work 32 hours during these times. Specific schedule will depend upon staff needs for the week; flexibility is required. Must be available to work at least 1 closing shift (8pm) per week.

Benefits include PTO and medical insurance. In addition, excellent chiropractic care, spinal corrective care and exercise therapy is made available to our staff via our facility. Compensation depends on experience.

We specialize in the world renowned Gonstead Method of Chiropractic, a system of analysis, diagnosis and specific adjustment. In addition, our patients take advantage of a full spectrum of wellness facilities, including

· Spinal Corrective Care

· Functional Movement / Exercise Therapy

· Alignment and function of the extremity joints (jaw, ribs, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle, foot).
