Gonnella Frozen Products seeks a full-time Sanitor responsible for daily cleanliness of the facility and equipment, to ensure compliance with regulatory, food safety and environmental laws are met; complies with safety and continuous improvement programs and ensure that the facility is maintained at audit level of cleanliness.
Summary: Responsible for maintaining high standards for a fast pace production food-producing plant.
Shift: 3rd 10:00pm-06:30am
Position Summary:
To ensure equipment and machinery is cleaned and sanitized in a safe and efficient manner based on production schedule and in compliance with the approved health and sanitation practices. Will be required to disable and assemble machinery to perform standardized cleaning and sanitizing procedures with cleaning chemicals. Assist with changeover and conduct inspection of parts. Must be able to meet attendance requirements, stand for full shifts, able to lift up to 50lbs, stoop, reach, crouch, bend, twist, walk, push, pull, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Job Requirements:
- Shifts can be from 8-10 hour, 5-6 days a week.
- Reliability and dependability are a key factor for success.
- Must have attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to quickly grasp tasks.
- Prior sanitation experience preferred, food manufacturing ideal.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $20.15 per hour
