What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gong Cha Barista position at Gong Cha?
Gong Cha Barista
Must have be available 9:30am-10:30pm and must work weekends.
Responsibility:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Make drinks (bubble tea/ slushes/ fruit tea, etc.)
- Taking orders and processing orders. Orders are coming from in-store customers and online ordering services. Occasionally, we have special and big orders.
- Providing informative solutions to customer questions about our products.
- Kitchen duty including cooking bubbles/teas, and making toppings.
- Store opening and closing. You will have open/closing shift. You have to follow store’s protocols on store opening and store closing. You will be, after predetermined time, required to be independently open, and lead closing.
- And others.
Qualifications:
- Be 18 years or older.
- Fluent in English.
- Have work authorization/employment eligibility in US.

- Work experience with other Gong Cha/ Kung Fu Tea/ Vivi Bubble Tea/ TBaar / or other bubble tea brands is preferred.
- Ability to speak mandarin is plus
