Pay:
The pay for this position is $10/hr and tips.
This position will be Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, teas, and specialty drinks using professional equipment.
- Take customer orders accurately.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food handling and food preparation.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers warmly and efficiently.
- Restock supplies and ensure the café area is organized and inviting.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
- Follow all food safety regulations and health guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction processing.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
