Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
- Manage the reservation system and accommodate walk-in guests efficiently.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately using POS systems, including Foodtec POS.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including menus and dining tables.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to relay orders and special requests from guests.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist in training new staff members on guest relations best practices and operational procedures.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by ensuring every guest feels valued and appreciated.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems, specifically Foodtec POS, is a plus but not required.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries over the phone.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
