About GoMining
GoMining is one of the largest Bitcoin mining ecosystems in the world. We run our own industrial-scale mining infrastructure across the United States, a fleet of more than 80,000 machines, and we keep expanding.
We're hiring Site Technicians for our Bitcoin mining facility in Butte, Montana. You'll be the hands-on person keeping thousands of miners running at maximum uptime.
Relocation support available! We welcome candidates from across Texas and the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance and troubleshooting of ASIC miners (Bitmain, MicroBT and others)
- Monitor and maintain electrical distribution, PDUs and cooling systems to keep the site running 24/7
- Diagnose miner performance issues, hashboard faults and power irregularities
- Replace faulty components: hashboards, control boards, power supplies, fans
- Install, commission and test new miners and supporting infrastructure
- Set up and monitor network connections for miners and management systems
- Keep accurate logs of repairs, replacements and downtime
- Support preventive maintenance programs
- Work closely with the Site Manager and other technicians to hit uptime targets
- Follow site safety and compliance standards at all times
Requirements
- 1 year of hands-on experience in a data center, mining farm, IT hardware, electrical or industrial maintenance role
- Basic knowledge of electrical and low-voltage systems, cabling and power distribution
- Familiarity with networking basics (IP addressing, switches, monitoring tools)
- Ability to read technical diagrams and electrical schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
- Comfortable with physically demanding work in an industrial environment (heat, noise, outdoor conditions)
- Willing to work flexible shifts, including nights or weekends when needed
- Experience with Bitcoin mining hardware is a strong plus. We provide training on our fleet
