Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Leasing Specialist to join our team on-site in Newark, NJ. The Leasing Specialist will be responsible for managing the leasing process, ensuring excellent customer service to prospective and current residents, and maintaining resident retention. Duties include presenting available properties, preparing lease agreements, addressing resident inquiries, and assisting with lease administration activities. Collaboration with other team members to meet leasing goals and enhance tenant satisfaction is an essential part of the role.
Qualifications
- Experience in lease management, lease administration, and proficiency in drafting and reviewing leases
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to fostering positive resident relationships
- Proven ability in resident retention strategies and maintaining high tenant satisfaction
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks
- Proficiency with leasing software or property management tools is a plus
- Previous property management or leasing experience is an asset
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field preferred
