What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Runner and Hostess position at Gombo Oyster Bar?
Hi Y'all ! We are looking to hire food runners/hosts at GOMBO. We are going into our busiest season and need more people. This would be a hybrid position with a mixture of hosting/food running shifts depending on your availability. We are open Wednesday-Sunday and need people for all days. Shifts start at 5pm and end between 9-10:30pm depending on how busy we are. The pay is $12 an hour plus tip outs from servers with an average hourly of $20-$40 depending on how busy it is.
As a food runner you are responsible for bringing the correct food to the correct table, communicating between FOH and BOH, bringing dishes to the dish area etc.
