Law Enforcement Sales Representative

We are seeking a motivated Law Enforcement Sales Representative to expand our presence within the public safety market. This position focuses on developing relationships with law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, fleet managers, and equipment/upfitting distributors to promote Golight’s line of high-performance lighting solutions.
Position Overview
The Law Enforcement Sales Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with law enforcement agencies and public safety organizations while promoting Golight’s lighting solutions for patrol vehicles, search and rescue operations, and tactical applications.
This role requires strong communication skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to identify opportunities within municipal, state, and federal agencies.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and manage relationships with law enforcement agencies, public safety departments, and emergency service organizations
· Promote Golight products to municipal, state, and federal agencies
· Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within law enforcement and public safety markets
· Conduct product demonstrations for agencies, fleet managers, and equipment distributors
· Support dealers and distributors serving law enforcement markets
· Attend law enforcement trade shows, fleet expos, and industry events
· Prepare quotes, proposals, and product recommendations for agencies and departments
· Maintain knowledge of industry trends, vehicle equipment standards, and agency requirements
· Coordinate with internal teams regarding product availability, customization, and technical specifications
· Maintain customer relationships and provide post-sale support
Required qualifications
· Experience in sales, business development, and account management
· Experience in law enforcement
· Strong communication and relationship-building skills
· Ability to present technical products to customers and decision-makers
· Self-motivated with the ability to manage a sales territory independently
· Willingness to travel for meetings, demonstrations, and trade shows
· Experience working directly with police vehicle OEM’s
· Knowledge of vehicle equipment, emergency lighting, and fleet upfitting
Preferred
· Familiarity with public procurement and bid processes
· Existing relationships within law enforcement or public safety organizations
Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
