We're working with a top Hedge Fund with more than 50 billion AUM, that's looking to hire an experienced high performance C Software Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance C applications for real-time trading and market data systems.
- Build and maintain ultra-low-latency, high-throughput systems that process large-scale financial data streams.
- Collaborate with traders, quants, and other engineers to implement solutions that meet both technical and business requirements.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in software engineering and contribute to continuous improvements in our codebase.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years of professional experience in high-performance C development.
- Expertise in C with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming, memory management, and concurrency.
- Proficiency in optimizing code for low-latency and high-throughput systems.
- Experience with market data feeds, FIX protocol, or trading systems is a strong advantage.
Total Comp: Base of 200-300k, plus a significant bonus making total comp up to 900,000
