What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical QA/QC Manager position at Goliath Construction Consulting, Inc.?
Goliath Construction Consulting is recruiting an Electrical QA/QC Manager for an electrical construction company. This role will lead project quality efforts, partner with field leadership, and ensure electrical installations meet project specifications, applicable codes, and client expectations.
We’re seeking someone with 5 years of electrical construction quality control experience. A background in pharmaceutical, data center, and commercial construction is preferred, along with previous electrical field experience.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Develop and manage project-specific QA/QC plans, inspection procedures, and quality standards.
- Inspect electrical installations for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
- Identify deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions with project managers and field teams.
- Coordinate inspections and testing with general contractors, client representatives, and commissioning personnel.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, deficiency logs, and turnover documentation.
- Guide field personnel on quality expectations and proper installation practices.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- 5 years of quality control experience in electrical construction required.
- Previous electrical field experience preferred.
- Pharmaceutical, data center, and commercial construction experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, the National Electrical Code, and construction documents.
- Experience leading quality efforts and working collaboratively with project and field teams.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
