Position Summary:
As the Social Media Content Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our social media content strategy, creating engaging and compelling content, and fostering strong relationships with our online community. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for golf with your expertise in social media to elevate our brand presence and drive engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media content strategy that aligns with the company's brand identity and objectives
- Create high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, videos, articles) to ensure it meets brand guidelines and resonates with our target audience
- Monitor social media trends, industry news, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for content creation and engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product, to gather content ideas, assets, and ensure consistency across all channels
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Plan and execute social media campaigns and promotions to drive brand awareness, user acquisition, and customer retention
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics, generate reports, and provide insights to optimize content performance and inform future strategies
- Stay informed about emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices, and continuously explore innovative ways to enhance our social media presence
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role, preferably in the golf industry
- Strong passion for golf and a solid understanding of golf culture, trends, and terminology
- Proficient in using social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content creation/editing software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt tone and style for ifferent platforms and target audiences
- Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and generate innovative content ideas
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with community management and customer service through social media platforms
- Knowledge of SEO principles and experience with optimizing social media content for search engines is a plus
- A proven track record of successfully managing social media campaigns and delivering measurable results
- Love for golf is a must!
