What are the responsibilities and job description for the GolfCave Ranger position at GolfCave?
Overview
The Ranger position provides customer service that is central to GolfCave customers’ experience from the beginning to the end of their visit. Rangers sell memberships, register new customers, book customer sessions, prepare Caves for customers, and keep the facility clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Experience / knowledge in the game of golf is preferred but not required
- Competent with computers.
- Friendly and reliable.
- Must provide documentation of legal U. S. residency.
The job requires:
- Greeting customers and members and providing tours to first-timers
- Answering phone calls / calling back missed calls
- Booking tee times / upselling tee times
- Registering new customers; creating customer profiles
- Selling memberships; saving members from canceling; submitting member cancellations; updating account information
- Selling / up selling gift cards
- Setting up Caves with customer profiles before they come in
- Walking customers to their Caves and getting them set up on simulators
- Checking in on customers mid-session
- Troubleshooting simulators
- Being aware of all monthly/ongoing promos and making customers aware of them
- Opening / closing the facility in accordance with facility procedures
- Cleaning Caves in between tee times
- Cleaning bathrooms / common area periodically throughout shift
We will be open everyday 9am-9pm. We are looking for people who can work 15-20 hours/week. *Nights and weekends are required.
Pay: $17.00 - $32.16 per hour
