Custom Pad Printer - Part Time

This person will be responsible for working to provide customers with the highest quality for their custom orders. The custom printer role is responsible for bringing the visions of our customers to light and ensuring that our products meet their expectations. A positive attitude and the drive to succeed are key factors in this role. Our production environment works well with all schedules, including those in college.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Set up, troubleshoot and operate padding machinery efficiently and safely
• Read and check work orders to ensure jobs are being padded correctly
• Perform print checks to ensure proper machine set-up, registration, ink viscosity, color, and print quality before proceeding with the print job
• Count golf balls to verify the quantity fills the job order
• Set up and change runs multiple times a day
• Work independently and maintain exceptional quality at a fast pace
• Clean, oil and store pads nightly
• Maintain a safe and clean work area taking out the trash and sweeping work area
• Ability to sit for long periods of time

• Punch in and out daily including punching out for one-half hour lunch
• No personal devices, texting or calls allowed on the floor except for emergencies
• Attends work as scheduled by manager
• Check work schedule weekly communicating availability with the manager in a timely manner prior to scheduling
• Make arrangements with a coworker to cover your shift when unable to work your shift as scheduled
• Provide manager with at least an hour’s notice when not able to attend work as scheduled informing your manager of the arrangements made for coverage
• Make requests for time off in a timely manner
• Must be able to function within a team working environment
• Dispose of garbage daily according to company policies
• Able to work Saturdays if needed to meet company goals

Qualifications

Education, experience, technical skills, physical demands, etc.:

• HS diploma or GED
• Will be trained, previous experience desired but not required
• Must be at least 18 years or older to work on machinery
• Able to bend, kneel, reach, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Must have the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time

• Will perform additional duties as directed by the manager that may include covering other areas within the department and working additional hours as needed to meet company goals
• Will be in contact with inks and solvents
• Requires repetitive movement
• Ability to take direction and be a fast learner
• Energetic/ professional/ dependable
• Ability to communicate in English
• Reliable transportation

Drug screening is required.
