Duties
- Maintain and care for all turf areas, including fairways, greens, tees, and roughs, using lawn care techniques and equipment.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to perform mowing, edging, aerating, fertilizing, and other landscaping tasks.
- Assist with irrigation system management by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure optimal watering schedules.
- Perform landscape maintenance activities such as planting, pruning, mulching, and weed control to uphold course aesthetics.
- Conduct routine inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing repair or improvement and execute necessary maintenance promptly.
- Support overall course upkeep by managing gardening tasks with horticultural best practices and ensuring safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to implement landscaping projects that enhance the course’s visual appeal and environmental health.
Skills
- Ability to operate motor vehicles- clean driving record and license required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Skilled in using light power tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers) efficiently and safely.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to landscape upkeep
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaborative outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Golf Course/landscape experience is preferred but not necessary
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
