What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Shop Attendant position at Golf Club of Houston?
- Greet and direct customers
- Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
- Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
- Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
- Cross-sell products
- Ensure racks are fully stocked
- Manage returns of merchandise
- Coordinate with the Retail Sales Representatives team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
- Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services
- Check in members and public guests for tee times.
- Coordinate with outside services staff to ensure adequate golf carts and supplies for guests and members.
- Knows basic golf knowledge
- Book tee times over the phone and in person and manage tee sheets.
- Communicate with golf professional staff and outside services.
- PGA/PGM (not required)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
