Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using order pickers, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols with forklifts and other handling tools.
- Ensure proper packaging of products for shipping in compliance with trade regulations and company standards.
- Support shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers and ensuring timely dispatch of goods.
- Conduct regular stock checks, organize storage areas, and assist in stocking shelves to optimize warehouse space.
- Follow all safety procedures related to warehouse operations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and equipment handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and professionally.
- Assist with international trade compliance requirements when handling cross-border shipments.
Skills
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, picking & packing, and stocking procedures.
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Basic math skills for counting stock quantities and verifying shipment details accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and support customer service efforts.
