Position Responsibilities:
- Accurately select, assemble, stage, and label orders according to customer and company specifications, verifying the correct quantity of items are selected.
- Inspect materials for any defects or damage prior to loading on trucks for shipment, and promptly communicates any issues to management.
- Assists in placing orders in customers vehicles, company vehicles, or company trailers.
- Completes “pick tickets” timely and accurately.
- Maintains organized and clean warehouse area.
- Assists in inventory and cycle counting processes as required.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment and handling materials, minimizing the risk of accidents or injuries
- May also assist/perform duties of Receiving Specialist.
- All other duties as needed or assigned.

Position Responsibilities:
- Receives incoming shipments of lumber and building materials, ensuring accuracy and completeness of deliveries by reconciling with internal purchase orders.
- Inspects received materials for damage, quality issues, and reports any concerns to the Operations management.
- Records and updates inventory levels in the system, maintaining accurate records of received materials.
- Organizes and stores received materials in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring efficient space utilization and easy accessibility.
- Coordinates with Purchasing to resolve any shipment discrepancies or issues.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to company safety protocols and procedures.
- Participates in periodic inventory counts and audits as required.
- May also assist/perform duties of Receiving Specialist.
- All other duties as needed or assigned.
Education/Formal Training:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Ability to operate a forklift in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, preferably in the lumber and building materials industry.
