Dispensary Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dispensary Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dispensary. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of retail management, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This role requires effective team management, inventory control, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with all regulations. As a Dispensary Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for both customers and staff while driving sales and ensuring operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of dispensary operations, including staffing, training, and development of employees.
• Oversee inventory management, including purchasing, stocking, and inventory control to ensure product availability.
• Implement effective merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and drive sales.
• Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
• Manage payroll processes and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
• Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team management practices.
• Conduct employee orientation, training sessions, and performance evaluations to promote professional growth.
• Utilize POS systems for transactions while ensuring accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
• Develop marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clientele.
• Monitor retail sales performance, analyze data for trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail management or dispensary operations is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and retail math principles.
• Experience with recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development processes.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is essential.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of budgeting practices and financial reporting is beneficial.
