A day in the life as a Main Kitchen Commi Chef:
Start your day with breathtaking mountain views as you head to the lodge. As a Commis Chef in the Main Kitchen, you'll support daily kitchen operations by keeping your station running smoothly, preparing high-quality meals, and maintaining clear communication with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef. During breaks, enjoy ski-in, ski-out access and hit the slopes. After your shift, relax and connect with fellow team members who share your passion for the outdoors.
What it takes to be Successful as a Winter Seasonal Main Kitchen Commi Chef:
- Strong culinary skills and experience in food preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
The Minimum Requirements to be Considered:
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a line cook or similar culinary role
What you'll need to learn in the first 90 days to excel at this job:
- Kitchen operations and food safety protocols
- Food preparation techniques
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Safety and sanitation standards
