What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook/Prep Cook position at Goldmans Bagel Deli?
Goldman’s Bagel Deli is seeking a reliable Breakfast Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team.
This position is responsible for preparing high-volume breakfast orders accurately and efficiently, including eggs, omelets, breakfast sandwiches, home fries, pancakes, and other deli favorites.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working a busy flat-top and multiple tickets at once while maintaining consistent portioning, presentation, and food quality.
Candidates should be dependable, organized, able to communicate well with the rest of the kitchen, and comfortable working early mornings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining a clean, well-stocked station; preparing food according to Goldman’s recipes and standards; following proper food-handling and sanitation procedures; communicating with other cooks and front-of-house staff; and assisting with prep, cleaning, and breakdown as needed.
We are looking for someone who works with urgency without sacrificing quality, stays composed during high-volume breakfast rushes, and takes pride in keeping their station clean and organized. Previous breakfast or short-order cooking experience is strongly preferred.
