Description

Goldman Global Arts is looking for a creative, art-driven Merchandise Product Designer to develop exclusive physical merchandise, packaging, and in-store experiences that reflect the energy of street art and the Wynwood Walls brand.


Under the direction of the Creative Development Manager, you’ll design products, packaging, and retail storytelling elements, collaborate with artists, and help bring cultural storytelling into our retail offerings.

 Compensation: 


$50k-$55k Salary


 Essential Functions:

  

· Conceptualize and design exclusive merchandise, collectibles, apparel, accessories, and lifestyle products that align 

  with Wynwood Walls’ artistic vision and brand identity.


· Collaborate with artists, curators, and the retail team to translate murals, street art, and installations into sellable 

  physical retail products.


· Design and develop packaging, labels, product tags, signage, and in-store visuals that enhance customer-

  experience and reinforce brand storytelling.


· Create product mockups, packaging prototypes, and technical drawings/spec sheets to guide product development from 

  concept to shelf.


· Partner with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers to source materials and ensure high-quality, cost-effective, 

  and sustainable product execution.


· Research cultural trends, art movements, and consumer behavior to continuously innovate the product line.


· Participate in artist collaborations, capsule collections, and special launches tied to exhibitions or seasonal events.


· Support the evolution of Wynwood Walls Shop as a destination for creative retail and experiential design.

Requirements


  

· Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Merchandising, or related field.

· 3 years of experience in merchandise/product design, packaging design, or retail development 

  (museum/lifestyle brand experience a plus).

· Portfolio showcasing physical product and packaging design (mockups, prototypes, finished merchandise).

· Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or similar design/prototyping tools.

· Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and design practices.

· Experience with visual merchandising elements (signage, displays, in-store brand storytelling).

· Ability to collaborate with artists and diverse creative teams while honoring artistic integrity.

Salary : $50,000 - $55,000
