The successful candidate will manage our complex virtualized environment consisting of 300 VMware virtual servers and physical rack-mounted systems, integrated with NetApp All Flash array and legacy EMC SAN storage solutions and will be a key participant in their migration and refactoring in the AWS cloud. Key responsibilities encompass advanced IBM Cognos Business Intelligence administration, web services management, and enterprise backup operations using Commvault Complete Data Protection platform and AWS Backup utilities to perform for nightly server and database backups. This position requires expertise in maintaining high availability, multi-tier database environments while ensuring optimal performance, security, and disaster recovery capabilities across all systems supporting the Maryland State Department of Education's educational data infrastructure.
