IT Subject Matter Specialist
Introduction
Serve as the senior technical authority for enterprise IT infrastructure modernization initiatives supporting Federal telecommunications programs. Provide strategic guidance for various IT infrastructure components and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance for structured cabling systems, optical fiber infrastructure, data center modernization, wireless LAN, Distributed Antenna Systems, and telecommunications engineering.
- Integrate cybersecurity measures into IT infrastructure projects.
- Plan, commission, and conduct acceptance testing for enterprise technology implementations.
- Support engineering reviews, design validation, technical risk assessments, and standards compliance.
- Offer technical leadership to Program Managers, engineers, and implementation teams.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Ten or more years supporting enterprise telecommunications or IT infrastructure programs.
- Experience in IT Infrastructure, IT Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Structured Cabling, Optical Fiber, Acceptance Testing, Cyber Security, IT Management, and Telecommunications.
- Background check required.
