POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are a rapidly expanding medical cannabis operations across our region, seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead post-harvest and packaging operations during a critical growth phase.

The Manufacturing Manager oversees end-to-end flower-based production from harvest intake through finished packaged products ensuring quality, compliance, efficiency, and on-time delivery. This role leads a team of 50 employees and reports directly to the Director of Manufacturing.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable on the production floor, fluent in manufacturing metrics, and capable of turning data into measurable operational improvements.

KEY RESPONSOBIULITIES:

Operational Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end post-harvest manufacturing operations from harvest intake through finished packaged product
  • Develop and execute forecast-driven production schedules aligned with cultivation output
  • Optimize turnaround time, reduce bottlenecks, and improve production flow
  • Manage labor planning, staffing levels, and overtime to control costs
  • Oversee vault operations, finished goods management, and inventory accuracy (BioTrack/ERP)

Team Management & Accountability

  • Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of 50 employees through supervisors and leads
  • Establish KPIs, production targets, and performance management processes

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Florida medical cannabis regulations, GMP, and OSHA standards
  • Partner with Compliance on QA, labeling, audits, and waste reconciliation

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, yield, and throughput
  • Implement Lean principles and process standardization.

QUILIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • 3–5 years of cannabis manufacturing or post-harvest leadership experience required.
  • Strong understanding of GMP and OSHA compliance standards.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead teams of 50 employees.
  • Experience operating in a regulated, high-volume manufacturing environment.

Preferred:

  • Florida MMTC experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience scaling processes in a growth-phase operation.
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma background preferred.
  • Working knowledge of BioTrack and ERP systems (Business Central preferred).
  • Ability to identify operational issues, troubleshoot processes, and implement effective solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple workflows, maintain accurate records, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
