Primary Responsibilities:
- Teach swimmers with varying abilities and special needs through our Golden Learner program using adaptive teaching techniques in accordance with our proprietary curriculum
- Provide individualized support, encouragement, and positive reinforcement to swimmers
- Foster a safe, patient, and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding swimmer progress and achievements
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the best experience for all swimmers
Job Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience working with children, especially children with special needs, preferred
- Patient, compassionate, and positive attitude
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual swimmer needs
- High energy and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in the water and leading group or one-on-one instruction
- Must pass background examinations prior to training
