We are looking for an Assistant General Manager to be part of our growing Goldfish Swim School Springfield location. We are seeking a self starter who is motivated to grow and succeed!

Very competitive compensation based on experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2 year experience in management of 30 employees
• 1 year customer service, relationship building, and sales experience 
• 1 year aquatics experience - Lifeguarding, coaching, teaching, and/or supervising
• Strong leadership, organization skills, and computer skills
• The ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple situations at once
• Able to sustain a high level of energy in the most positive manner

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

1. Directs and controls the daily operations, ensuring the school is running according to GSS standards.
2. Coaches and leads staff to maintain Management Standards and Philosophies.
3. Demonstrates continued growth in Leadership Development. 
4. Leads the staff of GSS to ensure high productivity, excellent performance and positive employee satisfaction.
5. Initiates and oversees workplace culture and employee interaction.  Maintain a high level of employee satisfaction.
6. Oversees all Sales & Service and Aquatics accountability.
7. Oversees all Sales & Service and Aquatics training & development.
8. Gains a high level of knowledge in EOS.
9. Oversees all Reports. Including Pre-Monthly Billing Reports.
10. Oversees the opening and closing process.
11. Oversees inventory and provides direction in the retail and vending departments.
12. Participates in teaching lessons and/or Deck Supervising at least once a week to maintain 100% Lesson Quality.
13. Gains a high level of knowledge in our curriculum and aquatics systems, as well as experience in the GSS pool operations. 
14. Directs and oversees the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan and all safety procedures that pertain to the GSS facility and trains all current staff on the GSS EAP.   
15. Maintains current certifications and stays up-to-date professionally on the aquatics and management field.
