Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mesa, AZ for a Radiologic Technologist. The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, accurately capturing images for medical evaluation. The role involves adhering to radiation safety protocols, maintaining imaging equipment, and collaborating with medical professionals to ensure patient care and accurate diagnoses. Additional tasks include preparing patients, explaining procedures, and ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Radiologic Technology and knowledge of radiation safety practices
- Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Knowledge of radiology practices and general understanding of medicine as it pertains to radiologic procedures
- Strong attention to detail, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field is preferred
- Prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting is an advantage
