WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Our Mortgage Underwriters eagerly assist mortgage lending by reviewing, evaluating, and decisioning mortgage loans.
Location & Schedule Availability
- 5151 S 400 E, Washington Terrace, UT 84405
- Monday through Friday 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Cultivate and effectively manage long-term, trusting relationships.
- Evaluate mortgage loan information to determine if loans meet credit union and agency standards.
- Decision loans based on credit union guidelines and policies.
- Communicate status of loans to mortgage loan officer and processor.
- Comply with all regulations as required by law
- Actively participate in continuing education related to credit union career development.
- Actively participate in continuing education related to credit union career development.
Experience, Education & Certification
- A two-year college degree, or completion of specialized certification or licensing
- 5 years of prior direct mortgage underwriting experience
- Delegated with FHA, VA and Rural Housing
