About the Position
Golden State is looking for a proactive and upbeat Assistant to write, create, edit, publish and distribute compelling content and build brand loyalty. This role will provide written and digital forms of content for all Golden State web pages and the Golden State mobile app. This position reports to the Manager, Digital Operations.

This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, publish, and distribute written and visual content on our websites and mobile app
- Provide coverage for all Golden State home and road games and occasional Thrive City events
- Support web and app efforts for ticket sales, retail initiatives, corporate partnership activations, community initiative and others as assigned
- Collaborate with the Manager, Digital Operations to create an overall content plan for websites and mobile app
- Ensure content is accessible, inclusive, and aligned with SEO and GEO best practices to maximize reach and engagement
- Monitor and implement industry-shared best practices across digital platforms
- Perform site and mobile app quality assurance review
- Other duties as assigned
Required Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience creating written and/or digital content, preferably within the sports, entertainment or retail industries
- Experience creating and publishing written and/or digital content for a news outlet, website, etc. (i.e., copyediting and headline writing)
- Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google and Adobe Analytics); familiarity with HTML and CSS coding is a plus
- Experience building and managing digital content with content management systems
- Strong writing and editing skills with a solid understanding of AP style and SEO/GEO
- Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and peers across the organization
- Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent understanding of Golden State Warriors, Golden State Valkyries, Chase Center, and Thrive City events
