We’re Looking For A: Paid Social Video Producer (Performance Marketing)

Location: Hybrid (El Segundo, CA and/or Burbank/North Hollywood, CA)

What You’ll Be Doing: 

The mission for the role of Paid Social Video Producer is for someone to be the mastermind behind Golden Pet Brand's high-converting video ads, leading the charge from concept to creation.

• Write and direct video ads with the goal of selling products using a data-driven, test-and-learn
  approach.
• Come up with fresh and innovative concepts/angles for ads and write scripts.
• Direct actors and/or celebrity brand partners to elicit authentic and persuasive performances; Formulate and ask interview questions that elicit the most compelling soundbites.
• Work with videographers to gather video assets (i.e.identify needed video cover, set-up locations and direct videographers to shoot b-roll).
• Provide on-set leadership in collaboration with Production Supervisor, production team, and
  camera crew.
• Collaborate with editors from pre-production to delivery, including providing feedback on
  edits, assist conceiving of graphics and on-screen text.
• Analyze performance data, and use data to create incremental video optimizations that scale.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., for ideation, scripting, editing support, and performance analysis) to accelerate creative production, generate new ad concepts, and enhance testing velocity; stay current with emerging AI capabilities and incorporate them into the creative workflow.

• Exceptional concepting and storytelling skills
• Exceptional script writing and directing skills
• Mastery of on-set creative leadership and understanding of how to successfully direct celebrity partners and actors
• Ability to formulate strategies on how to market health and wellness products in fresh, creative and different ways.
• Understanding of direct response marketing.
• A highly creative self-starter who can work both independently and collaborate well with different teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
• Available to drive, and occasionally travel, to locations in order to film and gather footage and conduct interviews
• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience, preferably in Marketing, Human Studies, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in video writing and production 
• 5 years of experience bringing scripts to life through video, film, visual storytelling preferred

The base salary range is $75,000-$100,000, plus bonus potential.

The posted salary range in this job posting reflects data based on California's cost of labor analysis. This salary range is subject to change per state; please click here to find the pay differential in your state of residence if the role is remote.
