Key Responsibilities
- Warehouse Operations
- Supervise receiving, storage, and distribution of raw materials, hardware, and finished cabinets.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and timely replenishment of supplies.
- Oversee staging and preparation of orders for shipment.
- Logistics Coordination
- Plan and coordinate outbound deliveries to customers, contractors, and distributors.
- Manage inbound shipments of materials and supplies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to align logistics with plant schedules.
- Team Leadership
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching to warehouse staff.
- Train employees on safety procedures, equipment use, and inventory systems.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Safety & Compliance
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards in warehouse and loading areas.
- Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free workspaces.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
- Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline warehouse workflows and logistics operations.
- Implement best practices for inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Support digital tracking systems and ERP/MRP integration for real-time visibility.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3 years of warehouse/logistics experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems, ERP/MRP software, and shipping procedures.
- Forklift certification and experience with warehouse equipment.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
