What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute - Bus Driver position at Goldendale School District?
Reports To: Transportation Director
Job Goal: Safely transport students to and from school and on field trips or extra-currricular trips.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years old.
- Must possess a valid Washington State Drivers License.
- Must obtain a Commercial Drivers License Class B, with endorsements P1 and S.
- Must meet and continue to meet all standards and regulations established by OSPI and the State of Washington.
- Msy pass physical exam to meet health requirements for DOT/CDL.
- Fingerprinting and background check required.
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Drive buses on regularly scheduled routes/field trips/activity trips.
- Maintain control over passengers as related to safety.
- Participate in bus driver training courses as required to meet standards.
- May be required to keep bus clean and fueled.
- Perform such other related duties as may be directed by supervisor.
