Life Enrichment Specialist – Lexington Ky

Pay: $18.00 Hourly

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12:00pm to 5:00pm

Type: Part time but could have more full-time hours

About The Role

This position focuses on helping our clients maintain a comfortable, safe, and welcoming home environment while offering companionship and daily living assistance. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoys helping others thrive in familiar surroundings.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily assistance with light housekeeping such as sweeping, vacuuming, dishwashing, and laundry
• Support personal care routines and encourage independence whenever possible
• Maintain tidy and sanitary kitchen and bathroom areas
• Change bed linens weekly and keep living spaces organized
• Accompany the client on errands and community outings as needed
• Follow household preferences including cleaning methods and procedures
• Remain attentive and present—cell phone use permitted only during scheduled break times
• Build trust and a positive working relationship by being compassionate, respectful, and fully engaged
  
  

Environment and Schedule

• Inhome care for one client; 40 hours per week
• Client has two cats (nonnegotiable for applicants with pet sensitivities)
• Smoking present at home
• Home environment is somewhat cluttered, but comfortable and familiar
• Role may expand for the right, trusted individual

• Commitment to honoring client preferences and maintaining boundaries
• Prior caregiving or home assistance experience preferred
