Job Posting: Life Enrichment Specialist –

At Golden Years Adult Day Health, we believe in building a culture of respect, kindness, empathy, community, and care. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Life Enrichment Specialist to provide meaningful, person-centered support to one of our valued clients in their home environment.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30AM4:30 PM Tuesday and Thursday 12:30 PM4:30 PM

About the Role

In this role, you will help foster daily well-being and independence for an adult client through supportive companionship, assistance with household tasks, and encouragement of healthy routines. You’ll play a vital role in enriching the client’s quality of life with patience, empathy, and understanding.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including light bathing support and help with hygiene as needed.
• Support with everyday household needs such as cleaning, cooking, laundry, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with errands and provide transportation to appointments.
• Encourage positive emotional wellbeing and help manage daytoday routines.
• Maintain a calm, respectful approach when navigating moments of stress or mood changes.
• Communicate any concerns or incidents promptly to the care coordinator/team lead.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or life enrichment experience preferred.
• Ability to remain patient, professional, and supportive in a variety of situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Must be comfortable assisting with personal care tasks.
• Ideal candidate will be someone who can establish clear boundaries while maintaining compassion and professionalism.
