Life Enrichment Specialist – $17.00 to 20.00
Schedule: Monday to Friday 10:30am to 6:30pm
Golden Years Adult Day Health Care is seeking a dependable Life Enrichment Specialist to support an in-home client with household tasks and daily routines. This role is grounded in the values of respect, kindness, empathy, community, and care, focusing on helping the client feel safe, supported, and valued at home.
About The Role
The Life Enrichment Specialist will assist an adult client with a consistent household cleaning schedule and daily tasks that support a clean, comfortable living environment.
Household Cleaning – Mondays And Fridays
Sweep and vacuum living room, bedroom, kitchen, utility room, and bathroom
Take out trash as needed
Daily Tasks
Wash dishes: soak in sink with a small amount of bleach and dish liquid, rinse thoroughly, and place in dishwasher
Wipe down countertops and kitchen table
Wash and dry laundry each day
Weekly Tasks
Change bed sheets once weekly: remove, wash, dry, and replace immediately
Clean bathroom: wipe sink, toilet, and bathroom surfaces
Relationship And Expectations
Follow the participant’s preferences to support safety, comfort, and dignity
Until trust is established, remain within the client’s eyesight at all times during the shift
Refrain from cell phone use during work hours, except during the designated 15-minute break
Qualifications
Experience with household cleaning and in-home support
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow a set cleaning schedule
Able to maintain professional boundaries and build trust over time

Valid driver’s license and car insurance
Ability to pass extensive background check (this includes the child abuse registry and sex offender registry)
