Life Enrichment Specialist – $18/hr | Golden Years ADHC
Location: Elk Horn City, KY 41522
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

The team is seeking a compassionate Life Enrichment Specialist to support a participant in Elk Horn City who values their independence and needs reliable, respectful assistance in her home.
About The Role
This role focuses on helping the participant safely remain at home by supporting daily living needs and meaningful routines. Participant lives alone, does not smoke, and has no animals in the home, creating a calm and quiet environment for both participant and caregiver.
Key Responsibilities Include
Assisting with daily personal care needs, including dressing and bathing while maintaining dignity and privacy
Providing meal preparation and basic cooking support to ensure safe and nutritious meals
Completing light housekeeping, laundry, and routine household chores
Providing transportation to and from medical appointments, grocery shopping, and medication pick-up
Offering companionship and emotional support rooted in empathy and respect
Being attentive to oxygen needs, as the client is on oxygen 24/7
Client preferences and environment
The Participant
Lives alone in Elk Horn City, KY
Uses oxygen continuously and needs a caregiver who is attentive and safety focused
Prefers a female caregiver and is comfortable with any race
Maintains a non-smoking home with no pets, ideal for caregiver's sensitive to smoke or animals
Qualifications
Female caregiver, as requested by the client
Genuine commitment to respect, kindness, empathy, community, and care
Experience with personal care (dressing, bathing) and household tasks
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to transport the client to appointments, grocery stores, and pharmacies
Ability to pass extensive background check (this includes the child abuse registry and sex offender registry)
Ability to support someone on oxygen safely and promote basic safety guidance
Reliable, punctual, and able to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
