What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retirement Village Manager position at Golden Years of Walworth?
The Retirement Village Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the 58 independent senior apartments at our campus in Walworth, Wisconsin. The most significant responsibility is managing and cultivating the relationships with our independent living residents and their families as well as prospective residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day operations of the independent living community.
- Coordinate with all support staff (housekeeping, maintenance, dietary, activities etc.).
- Ensure high resident satisfaction.
- Attract and evaluate potential new residents
- Coordinate apartment readiness, tours, move-ins, and resident transitions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and community partners.
- Oversee resident programs and events.
- Manage administrative and documentation tasks
- Respond effectively to emergencies and resident concerns.
- Promote the community within the local area to drive occupancy.
This is a full-time position and is eligible for full benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, 401k, paid time off and more. It is primarily a weekday day shift position, but has evening and weekend on-call responsibilities.
Ideal candidates must have strong customer service and organizational abilities, be self-motivated, able to effectively work with a team, have a heart to serve others, and must be able to communicate professionally while representing the Golden Years.
