About Role
Client prefers a female care giver. Race or nationality is not a factor. The home is clean, there are no pets, and no smoking in the home. The client is mobile. Client can use the bathroom independently and ambulate on their own, but needs help with housekeeping, daily support, and errands or travel as needed. Caregiver responsibilities commonly include light housekeeping, companionship, mobility support, assistance with personal care, and accompanying the client for shopping or appointments when needed.
Responsibilities
Provide companionship and a calm, easy-to-get-along-with presence.
Assist with light housekeeping and keeping the home tidy.
Offer support during bathing and other tasks that cause shortness of breath.
Help with errands, transportation, or travel as needed.
Observe and report any changes in condition or behavior.
Support the client’s independence while keeping him safe and comfortable.
Ideal Candidate
Female caregiver preferred.
Friendly, patient, dependable, and easy to get along with.
Comfortable working with a client who uses oxygen 24/7.
Able to assist with errands and light household tasks.
Experience with seniors and clients with chronic health or mental health conditions is helpful.
