Position Details
- Pay Rate: $17 per hour
- Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 8:30am10:30am WEEKENDS ONLY
- Location: Glasgow Ky
About the Role
In this role, you will help foster daily well-being and independence for an adult client through supportive companionship, assistance with household tasks, and encouragement of healthy routines. You’ll play a vital role in enriching the client’s quality of life with patience, empathy, and understanding.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including light bathing support and help with hygiene as needed.
- Support with everyday household needs such as cleaning, cooking, laundry, and grocery shopping.
- Assist with errands and provide transportation to appointments.
- Encourage positive emotional wellbeing and help manage daytoday routines.
- Maintain a calm, respectful approach when navigating moments of stress or mood changes.
- Communicate any concerns or incidents promptly to the care coordinator/team lead.
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving or life enrichment experience preferred.
- Ability to remain patient, professional, and supportive in a variety of situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Must be comfortable assisting with personal care tasks.
- Ideal candidate will be someone who can establish clear boundaries while maintaining compassion and professionalism.
